WINNERS: NATHAN BROWN & BEN MARCIANTE 48 PTS
A magnificent day greeted the members at the challenging Brighton Lakes GC. The weather was amazing and the course was in great shape.
Today was the 1st round of the 2026 2bbb championship and after much negotiating to increase our booked numbers, we were able to get 36 spots. This was a great showing and it is very nice to see that our golf club is in a very healthy position.
Today we also welcomed a new member and that person is Colin Gallagher. We hope that you enjoy playing with our group.
The outright winners today were Nathan Brown [38] and Ben Marciante [7] with a great score of 48 points. Unfortunately they don’t qualify for the championship due to constitutional rules but great win in the day’s event, nevertheless.
The runners up today were Mathew Campbell [21] and Chris Brennan [24] with 43 points. They are now the current leaders in the championship.
The Guzzlers Cup was won by Jim Gardner [11] and Brian Craven [24] with 42 points on countback.
The Bradmans with a score of 31 points were Troy Young and Joy Mesuria.
The leaderboard and days stats will be posted as soon as the cards have been scrutinised.
The next game will be on the 3rd of May so keep an eye out for the booking sheet later on in the week.
