- 2 Nights Accommodation: THE MANTRA RESORT – 1A-TOMAREE ST, NELSON BAY. 2315.
- Accommodation is 6 x 3 bedroom units (3 x 6 people & 3 x 5 people)
- No breakfast included – Apartments have kitchens so players can supply their own eat out.
- Transport will be up to each individual, and all players should endeavour to be at Horizons GC by 10am on Friday 14th of August.
- The event will consist of 3 championship rounds with carts at
- 14-8-26: HORIZONS GC – 10.30am
- 15-8-26: NELSON BAY GC – 7:30am
- 16-8-26: NELSON BAY GC – 7:30am
- Starting handicaps will not change for the DAILY EVENTS or overall TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP and “NO DISCRETION” will be given. So, if you have a disastrous round then, TUFF LUCK.
- Visitors are allowed but will play off their AGU handicap and non AGU at the discretion of the committee.
- After much consultation, Revesby Workers members will play off their exact handicap at that time. No bonus handicap will be given.
- The champion will be the player with the best aggregate stableford total for the 3 rounds.
- As this is a championship event there will be “NO GIMME PUTTS” and at this stage will be 30cm preferred lies on fairways only (may change only due to adverse weather or course conditions)
- A sweep will also be run at a cost of $10 per player (Prize money details below).
- Your roommates will be your playing group for the first day and cart/marker pairings must be adhered to. This will also enable you to check in at the same time after the round.
- A draw will also be done for the Saturday groupings allowing the late Friday starters to tee off earlier.
- The final round groupings on Sunday will consist of players with the best 2 day aggregate scores playing together.
- The “Snake” will be played for on the back nine of every round. The last person in your group to 3 putt or pick up on the day will be required to shout your group the first 2 rounds of drinks.
- The 2 worst scores on the day will be awarded the” Bar Wench” vests and will be required to perform bar duties for the entire group during and after the results presentation. (Cannot get the vest on multiple days)
- The guzzlers cup will also be played for and will be awarded to the 3rd place getter on the day (arguably the best prize to win on these trips)
- There will be nearest the pins and 1 drive & pitch prizes of $20 each available on each day.
- The prize pool for the daily and overall prizes is $4600.00
- The tour committee’s decisions & rulings will be final.
- Presentation will be at 5:00 pm on Friday & Saturday and after the round on Sunday
- Individuals will be responsible for any damage that they may cause and any other incidentals such as mini bar expenses.
All participants must remember that this will be our 10th trip away within NSW and we have always been looked after very well. You are also reminded that we are representing Revesby Workers Club and must be on our best behaviour whilst on tour. Respect should be shown to the resort staff, golf course, members, patrons and most of all to each other. Slow play must also be avoided at all costs as we will be timed by the pro shops. Any breaches and you will be marked ……………… “NTTA” (Never to Tour Again).
