DATE: Day on which event is played
TIME: Denotes the meeting time which is 15 minutes prior to the first tee time.
COURSE: Golf course where event is being staged
EVENT: Description of event to be played on the day
GAME: Format of game to be played on the day
COST: Price for that event and if carts are included. Eagles Nest is included in all prices.
BBQ: Denotes that a barbecue will be organised by the social committee after the game.
P.S: “Progressive Stableford”. An eclectic event where (1) hole is pre chosen per round and your stableford score for that hole is recorded. P.S is played over 18 rounds with the player having the highest score after 18 rounds winning the championship. # The number on the card denotes the hole index and not the hole number.
GOULBURN: Annual game against Goulburn Workers Club played on a home & away basis for the “Pig’s A-S- Trophy”. Lots of fun with some great people.
HUNTER VALLEY TOUR: 3 day play and stay event.
GOLD COAST TRIP: Bi annual 7 Day golf tour to Queensland Gold Coast including flights, accommodation 4 games at resort courses, all transfers, races day, prize money, Calcutta and a great time with your golf buddies.
MERV PELL: Yearly interclub event hosted by Club Mounties and represented by Revesby Workers, Blacktown Workers & Cabramatta Leagues Club. The 10 lowest handicapped players from each club are selected to play in this prestigious scratch stableford event.
LAWSON CUP: Interclub event represented by Club Mounties, Revesby Workers, Blacktown Workers & Cabramatta Leagues Club. The top 20 players on the Pointscore list (special consideration given to committee & Life Members) are invited to play in this aggregate stableford event.
CANBERRA: Yearly 2 man Ambrose event hosted in turn by each club and incorporating a presentation dinner. A great weekend away when it’s our turn to go to Canberra.
GUZZLERS CUP: At each event the third placed score is awarded the guzzlers. This award entitles the recipient to special bar privileges until the next presentation. At year’s end all the winners qualify and play for the Guzzlers cup.
PRESIDENTS CUP: Open single stableford championship played at the end of year.
CHRISTMAS/ PRESENTATION DAY: Final game of the year played as a 2Man Ambrose event. No points awarded for this event. Club presentations for the year and after party will make this the biggest event of the year.
INTERNATIONAL CUP:Teams event between Members of Australian Origin v Members of International Origin.
MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING: General meetings are held on the first Monday of every month unless otherwise notified. They are held at Revesby Workers Club and commence at 8pm. Members meet in the Sports Bar and then proceed to the designated meeting room for the night. All members are encouraged to attend in order to give input and contribute to the running of the golf club. A free game is raffled at every meeting.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: Most important meeting of the year where elections are held for all committee positions and important discussions relating to the running of the club take place. Every club member should attend and have their say on club matters. Food and drinks are are supplied on the night.
