OUTRIGHT WINNER: SANTO SAMMARCO [8] 39PTS
Today’s event was held at Cabramatta Golf Club, known for its impressive yet demanding course. However, the recent coring of the greens resulted in slower and uneven surfaces, affecting play conditions. Additionally, the rough remained lengthy and wet due to morning dew, making ball retrieval and shots more challenging. Despite these circumstances, several participants submitted commendable scores.
The outright winner was the man of the moment Santo Sammarco. This man has been on the podium all year. Santo’s corrected score was 39 points playing off a handicap off 8. Well done.
The A Grade winner on countback was Mark Krause [8] with the surprising score of 33 points.
B Grade was won by Joy Mesuria [13] with 38 points
C Grade winner was won by won of the club’s Life Members who is playing a few more games with us these days That man is Jeff Hilder [25] and he shot an impressive 37 points.
The Guzzlers Cup was won by Mr. Consistent, Dean Heffernan [17] 38 points.
