22 players rocked up at the crack of dawn for this round and it showed on some of the faces.
The weather was terrific, and the course was in ok shape but the bunkers should have been out of play and you were lucky if you could get a decent lie in the rough.
The conditions seemed to suit a lot of players though as the scores were quite high from several players.
The outright winner today was Troy Young {19} with a mighty effort of 44 points. I’ve been told that it could have been 50 if he had made a few more gettable putts. Well played Troy.
A grade winner was Captain fantastic Joy Mesuria [15] 41 points.
B Grade winner was Craig Franklin [19] 39 points
C Grade winner was Bob Mallia [22] with 40 points
The guzzler was Manny Petris [11] 40 points.

We also had one Matchplay semi final today and Mark Donavan defeated Mick McCarney 2 up to reach the final against Claude Poletti at Campbelltown next week.
