GUZZLERS CUP CHAMPION 2023-WAYNE JOL [27] 43 PTS
What a great day for golf, the following results will show how friendly The Ridge was today.
The highlight of the day was Mark McSwiney’s Hole in One on the 8th hole as well as winning the Eagles nest.
Congratulations to Mark on joining the elite club of Hole In One recipients.
The other great news was the Outright win was won by Jason Christie with 43 on a count back from Wayne Jol.
Unfortunately he hadn’t qualified for the Guzzler Cup and fortunately Wayne Jol did and was awarded the Guzzler’s Cup Championship for 2024.
A grade was won by John Varrica [10] with 42pts c/b
B grade winner was Mick McCarney [20] with 39pts
C grade winner was Wayne Jol [27] 43pts
Guzzler for the day was Phil Kilazoglou [16] 42pts

There were only 10 players whose handicap didn’t change today and those who handicaps changed lead to some changing grade and handing Birdie Comp. to others on a platter.Only one competition game remaining and the battle for Point Score Champion is still in the balance with 1 of 3 players being potential winner.
Next weeks game will test their steel with 2 players being Brighton Lakes Members.
Pin placement will be diabolical as the Medal round will have been played the day before.
