A beautiful morning greeted the group to the popular Macquarie Links GC for a 2 Ball BAM event.
The rules are that the 2 man team will score the first 3holes as a Best Ball, the 2nd 3 holes as an aggregate and the last 3 holes as a multiplier. This is then repeated on the 2nd nine holes to get the final score.
It can be said that the multiplier part of the 18holes is the making or breaking of your total score.
The teams were arranged in the morning by our Captain Joy and to be fair, he teamed up a low and high handicapper in each team.
Play was from the yellow tees which was a bit of a mistake because it shortened the course considerably. It will be blue tees next time.
The Winners today were the team of Steve Vaughn and new member Sachendra Mudaliar. Playing off handicaps of 19 & 13, this team secured the win with a great score of 83 pts.
The runners up were Mark McSwiney [17] & Ken Tyne [24] with a score of 77 points.
The guzzlers cup was won by Santo Sammarco [9] & Wayne Jol [26] with a score of 71 points.
No Bradmans were awarded today as they were pardoned by the President.

Our next event will be on the 10th November for the trip to Mollymook for our clash with Canberra Labour Club. Don’t waste this time and get some practice because we need to beat these guys convincingly.
