Today’s event was played at Camden GC and the format was a 2 Ball BAM.
In this format, the 1st 3 holes are scored as best ball, the 2nd 3 holes are scored as aggregate and the next 3 holes are scored as a multiplier. The same then applies to the 2nd 9 holes.
The fingers and toes were feeling it this morning with the temperature at a fresh 3 degrees at tee time which was 6:25 am.
The course was in god condition with lush fairways and quick greens. The only blemish was the rough with the uneven and bare lies which made playing out of it very difficult.
The winners today with a great score of 61points were the team of Joy Mesuria & Pete Davis.
Runners up were Mark McSwiney and Cliff Bourquin with 57points.
The Guzzlers Cup was won by Steve Floyd & Craig Franklin with 55 points.
The Bradmans were Santo Sammarco & Peter Macaulay on 43 points.
In other news, John Varrica scored an eagle on the 12th hole to snatch the Drive and pitch prize from an unlucky Mark McDonald who had only seconds before, put the ball inches from the hole only to see the prize slip away after Johnny V chipped in.

It was also a great day as we had 4 new members join the club. They are Brayden Harys, Steven Tait, Jorge Veronique and Mark Krause. Welcome to the club guys.
Next week sees the commencement of the 2025 Club Championship with the first round to be played at the Ridge. A reminder that only full members that have played at least 2 from the last 6 events are qualified to enter. The rest will still be able to play in the days event.
