2024 GUZZLERS CUP

The guzzlers cup final is a very sought-after trophy by our members. Throughout the year, the 3rd place getter is awarded the guzzlers cup for that week and they also qualify for the final which comes with a $50 Dan Murphy voucher at presentation day if they happen to win it.
The venue today was Brighton Lakes GC which has been in great shape of late but, the rain during the last few days could have an impact on the state of play today. Carts were allowed using the 90-degree rule but bunkers were out of play. The blue tees were in play and it was preferred lies on fairways only.

With so many members of RWCMGC also being members of this course, it was expected that the winners might come from these select few.

The outright winner and 2024 Guzzlers Cup champion is Jay Krishna who played of 19 hcp to shoot an incredible score of 45 points. Well done Jay.
A grade was won by Joy Mesuria [12] with a solid score of 38 points on a countback from Seb Ares.
B Grade was won by Cliff Bourquin [17] with a score of 38 points
C grade winner was Wayne Jol [22] with the score of 35 points
The Guzzler was Seb Ares [15] with a good score of 38 points
The A grade Bradman is making a habit of getting this prize of late and that is Manny Petris with 26 points.
B Bradman was Dean Heffernan with 24 points
C Bradman was Brian Craven with 26 points.
